Executive Director

Jill Anderson has worked with CAPSA since 1994. She spent time as a volunteer, social worker and ultimately executive director. Under Jill’s leadership, CAPSA has moved locations, built a nine-home neighborhood and added more than 30 staff members.

JaNae began working for CAPSA in 2014. Before joining CAPSA, she was a probation officer and general manager at Master Mechanic. At CAPSA, JaNae enjoys playing "shelter Sudoku" as she makes sure each client is safe and comfortable in their living situations.

Business Support Director

Lori Humphreys joined the CAPSA team in 2005. Since that time she has helped manage the nearly 100% growth experienced during that time. A financial expert, Lori will be the one to handle donations and make sure all runs smoothly at CAPSA’s events.

Development Director

James has been CAPSA‘s Development Director since 2014. During that time, he has created the CAPSA Trivia Night, and taken all of our events to the next level. James oversaw the creation of CAPSA’s new website, and the implementation of a new donor database management system. He loves graphic design projects and spends his free time with his wife and two dogs.

Social Services Director

Misty is the director of social work at CAPSA. She received her Master’s of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas, and she moved to Logan from Pleasant Grove, Utah. In addition to working for CAPSA, Misty is the Kids Church Director for Alpine Church.

As daycare supervisor, Kelsey teaches children how to recognize and communicate their feelings. She works hard to implement yoga and music into her teachings. She loves working with the children and jokes she gets along better with them than she does most adults.

A student at Utah State University, Carminda enjoys being a part of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She also enjoys her time spent serving in the community. During the 2017-2018 academic year she was the director of Students Together Ending Poverty or (STEP).

A Dr. Pepper lover and a Sociologist, Megan serves as the volunteer coordinator. She aids individuals and large groups as they seek to help the individuals in need at CAPSA. Megan also receives all donations given to CAPSA and disburses them. If you want to stop by, make sure to use the door on the far left side of the building.

A runner, pizza enthusiast and hunting fan, Neal helps families in shelter. He also meets with all of CAPSA‘s interns and makes sure they are meeting their goals and objectives. Neal often speaks to classes and large groups about CAPSA’s service opportunities.

A Logan native, Shellie grew up attending Skyview High School. She received her bachelor‘s degree at Utah State University, and now works as CAPSA’s lead prevention educator. Shellie reviews prevention curriculum, oversees the CAPSA Youth Council and teaches in schools.

A native of Logan, Ana works as a prevention educator and chair of the Northern Utah Violence Prevention Education Coalition. Ana works with The Family Place and the Center for Pregnancy Choices to educate youth about healthy relationships.

One of CAPSA‘s newest employees, Katie interned with CAPSA during her senior year of college in 2015. Following graduation, she worked with Utah State University’s Office of Research and Graduate Studies before joining CAPSA as Development Support Coordinator. In her new role, she runs CAPSA’s social media, sends mass emails, writes press releases and works on the logistical details surrounding events.

CAPSA’s friendly IT guy, David keeps our entire system running smoothly and efficiently. In addition to website security and maintenance, David reviews file storage data and handles a majority of the online database where files are stored. In addition to working with CAPSA, David is a software developer for EarthSoft.

Former Pastor of Alpine Church, Chad works to enhance CAPSA’s training and curriculum by making it available online and creating modules for each topic. He enjoys playing the piano, and in 2017 he released a solo album of original songs. The album is called Whitespace.

Yancey is CAPSA’s Crisis Line Operator. New to CAPSA, she enjoys meeting new clients, volunteers and donors. She helps answer all questions by directing your call or inquiry to the right CAPSA personnel. If you need a smile, Yancey is always the one to call!
