In Utah, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men will be sexually assaulted. These individuals come from varying economic classes, religions, races, ages and life stages. Abuse is no respecter of persons, and neither is CAPSA.

CAPSA is a non-profit domestic violence, sexual abuse, and rape recovery center serving Cache County and the Bear Lake area.

Every year, we serve more than 1,000 community members as they deal with recent or distant trauma. Below are the stories of some of our clients, and the changes they were able to make as they met with CAPSA therapists and were provided tools to heal.

“After spending almost two years living in our car, my three daughters and I were so grateful for nice blankets and pillows.”
