OUR SERVICES

CAPSA provides the following services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. All services described below are provided FREE of charge, in both Spanish and English. Interpreters for other languages can be provided as well.

  • 24-hour crisis line
  • 24-hour Mobile Crisis Response Team
  • Emergency shelter and food
  • Individual crisis intervention and case management
  • Educational support groups
  • Coordination of services and advocacy with criminal justice, law enforcement, legal, medical, mental health, and social services agencies, religious leaders, and employers
  • Assistance with sexual assault forensic exams and law enforcement interviews
  • Assistance with Protective Orders and Civil Stalking Injunctions
  • Court advocacy
  • Children´s program
  • Educational presentations and workshops for schools and community groups

 

Community Abuse Prevention Services Agency (CAPSA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and educating the public in order to prevent violence in our community. The organization began in the 1970´s as a group of concerned citizens, and continues today as a result of the help and support we receive from the community.

The mission of CAPSA is to provide safe, caring, and confidential shelter, advocacy, and support for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault; and to reduce incidents of abuse through prevention education.
