Meeting the need

In response to requests from law enforcement and civic leaders, CAPSA has opened a branch office in Preston, Idaho. The office gives CAPSA staff dedicated space to meet with survivors and respond to referrals from law enforcement and medical personnel, while providing survivor advocacy and casework services, trauma-informed therapy, and prevention and education trainings for schools, workplaces, and community organizations. This partnership strengthens the local support network and brings services closer to home for residents.

Preston Rodeo 2024

At CAPSA, we are proud to partner with the community of Preston to bring awareness to domestic violence during the Famous Preston Night Rodeo.

1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men will be victim of domestic violence in their lifetime. Unfortunately, this is an issue that is far more pervasive than we realize. It happens behind closed doors and is often not talked about. Together, we can change that and bring hope to survivors.
